The strawberries and peas are all ripening at once. A set-fruit count on the tomato plants totaled 96. 27 September – I was able to clear two rows in the summer garden. I let the three green bell pepper plants which are still producing remain. I mulched another path. I am trying very hard, with all the mulching, to get ahead of the weeds. Weeds seem to grow the best of all.
