I took the photo inside because it was darn cold out today. Starting with the radishes on the bottom and going clockwise: mixed radishes, romaine (Paris Island Cos), Mixed Loose Leaf Lettuce (many varieties including Ashley and Black Seeded Simpson), two heads of Tom Thumb lettuce, Little Finger carrots (which look like massive thumbs), and [...] The record harvests have continued the past couple of weeks. I am really enjoying having the benefits of harvest at this time, which is so busy with getting ready for the holidays. I took this photo of the harvest, which is playing out like a broken record with pretty much the same things,but still very [...] I harvested more than what is shown in the photo. I brought in almost 2 pounds of jalapeno peppers. Most of the veggies shown below were used in a salad for dinner tonight. I needed the salad after eating too much of the desserts I made for Thanksgiving. Today we had our [...] This week saw record harvests from the garden. We were able to have carrots three nights this week for dinner, plus salads from the garden every night. There are so many bell peppers I will be making stuffed peppers for dinner.
